We were very rudely told "There's nowhere for you to change" even after explaining we would take our things to the Valley of Waves and change there.
We arrived too early to check in, so we just wanted to change into our swimming gear and leave our suitcases with reception. The bathroom basin didn't drain either, and the taps in the shower are so old I had to turn them at least 30 times before any water came out.īoth the toilet handle and toilet paper holder fell apart ever time we used it.Īnd then, when we ordered a simple 2 desserts, and 2 drinks from room service I was already asleep when it arrived more than an hour later. It was 30 degrees all night which meant we couldn't get any sleep, even with the balcony doors open. The repairman didn't arrive until 10pm, just took a look at the aircon, and said he would fix it in the morning. I called reception at 3pm to ask if they could send someone to help.
Well that was odd but after about a week they stopped touching our stuff and took $500 US money out of our wallet that we had in the drawer way in the back which equals about $8000 in rand! We made a report and they took our statement and down loaded the key pad to see who was in our room! Nothing happen after that! So if I ever went back I wouldn’t have room service for sure! report replyįirst, the aircon in our room didn't work at all. Room service cleaning was weird as when they cleaned the room they touched everything of ours and folded clothes and zipped up suitcases and then came in again at night to lay robe on bed with candy. We booked a lot of extra activities and the communication for what we needed to do was not the best. It went from amazing to horrible! The service and the people are so amazing and go the extra mile! At checkin it was just okay, they didn’t give you a map or explain anything of what was included! The rooms were just okay and we had two mattresses pushed together to make a queen I guess that kept splitting throughout the night.
